Growing up, MELISSA DAMON was obsessed with reading young adult novels. Every night, she would hide under her covers with a flashlight, and continue to read – even after her bed time. Her world was – and still is – filled with fantastical stories that she itched to write down on paper.
Even at the age of thirty-seven, she still loves to read novels, especially late at night or on stormy days. Creativity is her life’s motto, and she shares this joy with others on a daily basis. She can rarely be found without her practical notebook or idea journal on hand.
She currently works for a hospital with teenagers and children, and her dream is to become a young adult novelist, a professional photographer, a songwriter, and a designer.
